How to increase your email list conversion rate with double opt-in

In this video I'm going to go over something that often gets a little bit confusing because there's a few different steps, but it's a really awesome feature when you do it. And that is setting up double opt-in on your forms.

In the past there were a lot of situations where you would create a form for a free lead magnet, webinar, etc. And if you had double opt-in turned on, then someone would go to a generic confirmation form. That was the same confirmation form for every form. Plus it was a little bit hard to use.

BUT, a few months ago, Kajabi has updated the double opt-in to allow you to customize what happens when you use the double opt-in. If you are wanting to use the double opt-in feature, where you require someone to confirm their subscription before they actually sign up, I'm going to take you through the steps and show you exactly which pages that you need to create and how it all works so that you can use double opt-in. This is a great feature if you want to increase your conversion rates.
